JOB DESCRIPTION:

Briarmeadow Charter School is a PK-8th grade campus located in the Briarmeadow neighborhood, close to Uptown Park, in Houston, TX. The elementary portion of Briarmeadow is currently an IB candidate school, looking forward to the verification visit in the fall. We would like to develop the IB continuum into our middle school and are looking for candidates who would like to participate in a community of learners on our journey. 
Available positions:
6th grade – Language and literature & Individuals and societies
7th & 8th – Language and literature
7th & 8th – Individuals and societies

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-- Experience with grade level preferred
-- Passion for working with adolescent students
-- Commitment to participating in a community of learners
-- Experience with MYP, a big plus
