JOB DESCRIPTION:
We welcome applications for the anticipated vacancy for a Class teacher and confirmed vacancy for PE Specialist for '15-'16. The PE post could be full or part-time. We are a small International school in the thriving community of Lakeway, TX, fully authorized as an IB World School, delivering the inquiry-based PYP delivered within the framework of the National Curriculum for England. All applicants need to be fully qualified and experienced for positions available. Our program includes a strong emphasis on literacy, mathematics and STEM in general, and candidates will need to bring enthusiasm, energy and demonstrated expertise in these areas. Applicants to the school must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers, regional and national checks.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified to teach Primary/Elementary age range
- Experience working with both the PYP and/or English National Curriculum highly desirable
- Flexible, creative, proactive and able to use own initiative
- Excellent communication skills, with the experience and desire to work collaboratively
