JOB DESCRIPTION:
To serve as district level expert in math programming and instruction in grades PK-12. This individual will inform and oversee math instruction at the campus level ensuring that all students are well served with the best instructional practices, well aligned resources, opportunities for innovation and in preparation for state and college entrance assessments. This individual will work with the district level academics team to oversee the development, implementation and evaluations of campus math curriculum, resources and assessments for the PK-12th grades. As our district strives to serve historically underserved students, special attention to supporting and engaging struggling learners as well as English Language Learners is required.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications:
-- Bachelors Degree in Education
-- Masters Degree preferred in Education
-- Minimum of five years teaching experience in public school setting
-- Evidence of achievement in serving students
-- Strong knowledge of state math standards and assessments
-- Bilingual is preferred
