JOB DESCRIPTION:

Briarmeadow Charter School is a Pre-K – 8th grade campus located in the Briarmeadow neighborhood, close to Uptown Park in Houston, TX. Briarmeadow was founded on constructivist beliefs that welcome children in all inclusive classrooms. We are currently an IB PYP candidacy school and are expecting our verification visit in the fall. 

Teachers at Briarmeadow loop with their classes to ensure that there are strong bonds between teachers, students and families. Looping at Briarmeadow means that teachers stay with their class for two years. Teachers applying should be comfortable with either a 2nd and 3rd grade looping position or a 4th and 5th grade looping position. Position will be full-time starting in the 2015-2016 school year.
