JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Meridian School MYP Pre-Algebra/Geometry Teacher will blend the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) with the IB MYP Curriculum Framework. Meridian School submitted application for IB Middle Years Program (MYP) candidacy on April 1, 2015.

Meridian School is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) school, for the Primary Years Program (PYP)- grades K-6 and for Diploma Years Program (DP)- grades 11-12. As a charter school, we are able to offer our IB programs with fidelity.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-- Valid TX Teacher Certificate in Mathematics preferred; 
-- Highly qualified per NCLB accepted.
-- Understanding and appreciation for different learning styles
-- Second teaching field such as comp. sci., physics, chemistry or MYP Design preferred. 
-- IB training and/or teaching experience preferred.
