JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Meridian School PYP self-contained teachers will blend the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) with the IB PYP Curriculum Framework. 

Meridian School is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) school, for the Primary Years Program (PYP)- grades K-6 and for Diploma Years Program (DP)- grades 11-12. Meridian School submitted application for IB Middle Years Program (MYP) candidacy on April 1, 2015. As a charter school, we are able to offer our IB programs with fidelity.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-- Valid TX Teacher Certificate in Elementary Self-contained required. 
-- Understanding and appreciation for different learning styles
-- PYP training and/or PYP teaching experience preferred.
-- ESL certificated preferred.
